Ceramics is a wonderful artistic medium for children of all ages to explore. Ceramics Canada has something for every age and ability. Children get hands on experience no matter what the project. Children will use and build their fine motor skills while learning to create and paint. From painting a piece to hand prints to hand building with clay, children will create a work of art that will last a lifetime. Come to us or we can come to you! Fun Collectibles

This is a great offering of assorted collectibles perfect for boys and girls of all ages and they're the perfect size for small hands!
Choose Non-Fired for immediate results that can go home the same day as painted or Fired for a very shiny glass like finish.  Fired pieces need to be returned to the studio for firing and takes about a week.

Clay Magic!  Play with Clay!

Clay is a wonderful medium for children to work with!  They will build and use motor skills and muscles while creating wonderful pieces of art.  Our basic Clay Magic program includes 1lb of clay and easily makes a pinch pot, wall plaque and pendant.  We have many clay options available including windchimes, chip and dips, and more!  Clay always requires a Ceramics Canada instructor.

Play with Clay:  The Basics 

This is a great choice!  Participants will learn how to create a pinch pot, wall plaque and pendant/ornament from clay.  Allow about 1.5 hours for this workshop.  You have two options with this class:

Option 1

Create the pieces on day one.  On day two (minimum 1 week from day one) the students paint the pieces.  Pieces will be ready for pick up one week from painting.

Option 2

Students can create and paint the pieces the same day!  Add on approximately 30 more minutes for painting.  The pieces will need to dry completely before we can fire them then glaze them and fire a 2nd time.  Ready for pick up in about 3 weeks.
